Smart Police Station
In order to bring natural light and a nice view inside the Police Station, an external garden surrounding the mass was created as well as an interior courtyard in the middle of the building.
The Smart Police Station consists of working offices, council room, meeting room, informal meeting spaces and a cafeteria. The distribution of internal functions is essentially based on the amount of lighting needed by each space. For instance, while working spaces require limited lighting, meeting rooms, the council room and the cafeteria demand brighter lighting.
For users' benefits, the design of the police station has clear and simple indoor and outdoor movement paths. Moreover, the wave shaped structure of the façade and its cladding give the building a distinctive feature within the urban environment.
