The house is located on the top of a mountain in Trabzon with a magnificent natural view. The small house benefits from the sloppy plot to offer a generous number of viewing points from the ground level terrace and swimming pool, the main terrace on the first floor, the main living space, and the “watchtower”.
The shape and construction materials of the house are inspired by the traditional stone houses of Trabzon with an integrated modern looking copper staircase and watchtower. The house stands on a multi-levels stone plinth which allows, in addition to the terraces, a number of a platform for plantation which together with the natural stone materials connect the house with its natural context.
